Material: Ant with leaf insect (Pheidologeton divrersus) in a square resin casing.
Size: 1 1/2 inches square by 1/2 inch thick
Resin is a safe material, no smell, sturdy and durable. Also known as the East Indian Harvest Ant. They live in large colonies, like most ant species, which are often found in soil or under rocks. The minors of this species have been observed ‘hitching a ride’ on the large ants so as to save energy while moving along long trails.

Entomology is the study of insects and their relationship to humans, the environment and other organisms. Insects heavily impact agriculture, chemistry, biology, human/animal health, molecular science, criminology, and forensics.
Many insects have an important history throughout the world's cultures. Today, many civilizations use insects as a form of food. In ancient civilizations, insects had a special metaphysical use. Some insects were used to predict the weather, such as the way spiders weaved their webs. Certain insects, such as scarab beetles, were used to communicate with the dead.
