Material: Four Stopped Chaser Dragonfly ((Libellula quadrimaculata) in a square resin casing. 

Most dragonflies live in tropical regions near wetlands, which is needed for egg laying. Fossils of very large dragonfly-like insects, from around 325 million years ago have been found. These are sometimes called griffin flies, and had wingspans up to about 30 inches.
